Changing the filters
0
The paper filter is to be changed if the efficiency
of the vacuuming decreases or if the filter is
very soiled:
Hold the paper filter by the cardboard edge and
firmly press it onto the suction hole.
The paper filter must touch closely against the
side of the dust container wall so that it is not
damaged by the filter basket when gently
replacing the motor head.
Changing the fine paper filter and the foam filter
0
Change the fine paper filter with each fifth
change of the paper filter.
First release the tension ring (pivot the two
brackets in the direction of the arrows marked),
then detach the tension ring from the motor
head and remove the fine paper filter and the
foam filter. Beat out the foam filter well or, if
very dirty, wash it by hand and allow it to dry.
Lift up the foam filter and the new fine paper
filter, attach both filters using the tension ring and secure it by
pivoting the two brackets.
Changing the motor protection filter
0
Check the motor protection filter in the
flotation valve now and again. If it becomes
soiled, open the flotation valve in the direction
of the arrow and remove the motor protection
filter out of the suction hole. Insert the cleaned
or new filter back in and then attach the filter
basket.
Cleaning the appliance
0
Each time after vacuuming using water or spray vacuuming check the
motor protection filter for soiling and clean it if necessary.
Wipe the motor head, dust container and housing with a damp cloth
and allow to air-dry.
Do not use solvent or abrasive substances.
