stage, i.e. with the mains voltage. After expiration of an adjustable time, the lighting system
changes to the selected stage.
For systems marked “T” this is controlled by the integrated timer.
10.2 Service Operation (manually)
The contacts C1 and C2 can also be actuated manually if a timer is available. This is the so-
called service operation which is probably reasonable during commissioning or for test
purposes. However, the contacts should be reset to the original condition after completion of
the work. See also chapter 9.3 page 45.
If no stage was selected, i.e. both binary inputs = 0, the power controller
would only accept it after 5s and switch off the lighting system only then.
When changing between stage 1 and 2, it is possible to switch using 0 if
contacts are changed within 5s!
10.3 End of Operation
The end of operations is achieved by de-activation of the mains voltage. For systems with
timer, the latter continues operation either via its own supply or via an installed battery.
11 Maintenance
Maintenance measures are normally not necessary for the system. However, attention
should be paid that the degree of soiling of the systems is observed, i.e. that the systems are
regularly checked for the permitted soiling.
In case of systems marked with the letter “T” the integrated timer may possibly require
maintenance.
