.2.1 VISUAL CHECK
When visually checking the unit, check whether:
there is any mechanical damage or foreign bodies can be found in the system,
any conductive dirt or dust has accumulated in the unit,
accumulation of dust a ects heat supply and dissipation.

. MAINTENANCE
The PROTECT C consists of advanced and resistant components. To guarantee a
continuous and high availability it is recommended to check the unit (especially the
batteries and the fans) in regular intervals (at least every 6 months).

Follow safety and security regulations unconditionally!
.1 BATTERY CHARGING
The battery is automatically charged when the mains is present, irrespective of the
operating mode. This is signaled by the "Line" LED lighting up (refer to 2.3 on page
75).
.2 MAINTENANCE
The following maintenance work should be performed:
PROTECT C must be disconnected from the power supply prior to carrying out the
following work.
