Power Connection
When connecting to the mains, follow the instructions below for safe
and precise operation of the device:
Ensure that the power cable is not damaged and not routed over
hot surfaces and/or sharp edges.
The mains cable must not be tautened.
Make sure the main switch (25) is on OFF position. Connect the
mains plug of the cable (26) to a properly fitted wall socket.
Other Connections
If you want to play back tracks from an external device through
the IR 4430, connect the audio output of the external device to
the AUX IN (21) port of the IR 4430, using a suitable cable (not
included).
If you want to play back music from the IR 4430 through a sepa-
rate amplifier, then connect the LINE OUT port (22) to the match-
ing inputs of the amplifier, using a suitable cable (not included).
If desired, use a LAN cable (not included) to connect the device via
port (23) to the router of your internet access or to a PC network.
Uncoil the wire aerial (24) fully and lay out at the installation
location.
