Smart Picture
Here you can select the optimum picture settings.
There are three fi xed settings available (standard, bright, soft) and one adjus-
table setting according to your personal taste (dynamic).
NOTE:
In the „Dynamic“ setting you can adjust the values for „Brightness“
,
„Con-
trast“, „Tint“ and „Colour“ according to your personal taste.
• Press
the
ENTER
button to change the individual values.
• Press
the
ENTER
button again to store these.
Digital Output
Here you specify the settings for the digital Audio output.
Off:
No digital audio signal is produced.
PCM:
Output of a digital Audio signal that is converted to a 2-channel
signal. Use this setting if your amplifi er is a two-channel stereo amplifi er.
All:
Output of a digital Audio signal. Use this setting if your amplifi er is no
two-channel stereo amplifi er.
NOTE:
If there is no Audio output, even though you connected the DVD-Player to an
amplifi er, you will most likely have chosen an incorrect setting for the Audio
output.
Night mode
Night mode activates a special Audio characteristic with which the sound is felt
less disturbing.
Downsampling
NOTE:
Select this option if „PCM“ is activated in the „Digital Output“ menu.
Off
= Deactivation of Pro Logic decoding (pure stereo signal).
On
= Activation of Pro Logic decoding (stereo signal with encoded Pro
Logic section).
