Here you can set various display options for the playback device that is
connected.
NOTE:
The setting „Panscan“ is not supported by all DVDs.
TV Type
Match the output of the DVD-Player to the colour transfer system of your replay
device. The following options are available:
PAL:
A system commonly used in Europe.
AUTO:
Select this setting if your replay device is a multi-system unit.
NTSC:
A system primarily used in North America.
Video Output
Select the video output option for the playback device that is connected and
which you wish to use.
Choosing the right signal format depends on the type
of connection and the playback device (see also the operating manual of the
replay unit).
S-VIDEO:
Choose this option if your replay device supports progressive
signals and is connected to the DVD-Player by means of an S-Video cable.
Component:
Choose this option if your replay device supports progressive
signals and is connected to the DVD-Player by means of a Component-
Video cable.
RGB:
Select this option if your playback device is connected to the DVD
player via the SCART connection.
P-Scan:
Choose this option if your playback device supports progressive
signals and is connected to the DVD-Player by means of a Component-
Video cable.
NOTE:
• If you would like to select the „RGB“ setting, please ensure that your
playback device supports this setting.
• If the „S-VIDEO“ or „P-Scan“ option is activated but your playback device
does not support Progressive Scan signals, no picture is displayed.
• By
pressing
the
STEP/P-SCAN
button (Fig. 3/33) you can also switch
between the video output options. (Only in Stop Mode possible.)
