Empty the water tank, fill the tank
with at least 1 liter of water and add
the descaling agent.

Note: Make sure descaling agent is
splashed onto surfaces sensitive to acid
such as marble, limestone and

capacity of 1.5 litres under the steam
nozzle (Fig. 9).

Turn the knob for steam and hot water
to the position

The descaling program starts and the
descaling solution runs out of the
steam nozzle. The symbols

The descaling programme automati-
cally performs a series of flushes and
pauses to remove limescale deposits
from inside the coffee maker.
After approx. 30 minutes, the water
tank will be empty and the symbols

are flashing and "P“ is steady
on.

Turn the knob for steam and hot water
back to the position .
The machine is now ready to be rinsed
with fresh water.

Remove the water tank and fill it with
fresh water and then replace it in the
appliance.

nozzle and replace it there.

cup of coffee from the machine.
