4.7 Remote Control Operations
Joystick in neutral: the remote control joystick is in the neutral position.
Joystick shift: the extent of the remote control joystick shift from the neutral position.

Control the UAV’s altitude:
push/pull the left joystick up/
down to enable the UAV to
ascend/descend. In case of
joystick in neutral, the UAV
will not move up or down. To
take off, push the left joystick
up slowly (quick pushing may
cause the UAV to ascend
rapidly suddenly) until above
the neutral position.

Control the UAV’s heading:
push the left joystick left/
right to enable the UAV to
turn counter clockwise/
clockwise. In case of joystick
in neutral, the UAV will not
turn. A greater joystick shift
will lead to a higher turning
angular velocity.

Push/pull the right joystick
up/down to enable the UAV
to pitch forward/backward
and fly forward/backward.
In case of joystick in neutral,
the UAV will keep horizontal
in the front-back direction. A
greater joystick shift will lead
to a larger pitching angle and
higher flight speed.
