Battery temperature compensation connection 

The temperature control wire should be fixed in the higher temperature area of the battery. 

2.5.5 Surge Protection Device 

In areas where lightning strikes are frequent, multistage surge protection system should be installed 

at the  incoming  wire  of  the  mains to  ensure  the  safe operation  of  the  device. 

IST6

 series  UPS can

be equipped with a Class C SPD. 

If the surge protection facilities are selected, they will be installed in the UPS. 

2.6 Alarm Function 

Once  the  UPS  abnormal,  it  will  send  sound  &  light  alarm.  The  alarm  or  protection  function  of  the 

UPS is as shown in Table2-10.
