INSTALLING THE UNIT
Mounting the Pyrometer
Your pyrometer will work with or without mounting. Whether a mounting is required
(and, if so, what type) depends on your application and the mounting situation.
A variety of mounting accessories are available to fix the pyrometer in one position
and ensure that it is focused on the correct spot of the target object.
TO MOUNT THE PYROMETER
1. If applicable, attach a mounting accessory to the pyrometer.
2. Mount the sensor heads at a location that provides a clear view of the target
object and is unobstructed by air contamination or hot reflections.
There are no spacing requirements.
3. If applicable, mount the converter box using customer-supplied 4 mm screws
for the two holes in the housing.
4. If applicable, mount the analog box by removing the cover to access the two
holes in the housing; use customer-supplied 4 mm screws to secure the analog
box. Replace the cover.
5. If applicable, mount the multi-sensor box by removing the cover to access the
two holes in the housing and using customer-supplied 4 mm screws to secure
the multi-sensor box. Replace the cover.
