ENGINE AIR FILTER CLEANING
Drive the machine on a level
fl
oor, engage the parking brake and turn the ignition key (64) to “O”.
1.
Open the engine compartment hood (1) by using the unlocking push-button (25).
2.
Check the engine air
fi
lter service indicator (27) before each use of the machine.
3.
NOTE
After cleaning or replacing the engine air
fi
lter, the service indicator can be reset by pressing the end of the indicator.
WARNING!
When servicing the engine air
fi
lter elements, use extreme care to prevent loose dust from entering the engine.
Dust can severely damage the engine.
Open the engine oil
fi
lter cover (24) and remove the paper pre-
fi
lter and synthetic
fi
lter.
4.
Clean the engine air
fi
lters and/or perform maintenance of the engine air
fi
lter element (24) as shown in the Engine Manual.
5.
ENGINE COOLANT
WARNING!
Do not remove the radiator cap (23) when the engine is hot.
Drive the machine on a level
fl
oor, engage the parking brake and turn the ignition key (64) to “O”.
1.
Open the engine compartment hood (1) by using the unlocking push-button (25).
2.
Let the engine and engine coolant cool down, then open the radiator cap (23) with great care, to release the pressure.
3.
Remove the radiator cap (23) and check the coolant.
4.
If the level is low, add a mixture of half water and half automotive type anti-freeze, as shown in the Engine Manual.
