DS3 Framing
Set the framing format to match the format of the receive signal at
the network interface.

to allow the interface to detect the framing
type automatically.
Line Length
Set the line length to reflect the physical length of the DS3 network
line. Set to
L
ONG
if the cabling distance exceeds 225 feet; set to

HORT
if the distance is less than 225 feet.
DS3 Timing
Set the timing to
L
OOP
if the T3SU 300 is to derive timing from the
network; set to
L
OCAL
if the unit is to be the master timing source
for the circuit. In most cases, the unit should be configured for
L
OOP
timing.
