Wearing
The microphone is colored white with the letter “L” which should
be worn in the left ear. The other earphone is colored red with the
letter “R” which should be worn in the right ear.
Adjustment
After attaching the microphone / earphone, connect it to your AV
equipment. If it is in the recording pause state, check the
recording level and monitor the volume level.
Set the monitor’s volume level to a lower level at first because
there may be a loud noise when turning on AV equipment. The
microphone is designed to be highly sensitive. You can adjust the
microphone sensitivity, AGC level, etc. with your AV equipment.
Please check the appropriate recording level. For more details,
please refer to your AV devices instruction manual.
Windscreen
When used outdoors there may be noise from wind. When the
windscreen is in use it does not affect the quality of the sound and
will greatly reduce the noise from the wind.
How to install

Lightly press the clip of the windscreen from behind with your
finger. Gently push it onto the microphone / earphone.

How to remove
Slide the windscreen off to remove it taking care not to forcibly
pull it as it may cause damage to the windscreen.
Troubleshooting
No sound
・
Check the connection between the earphone and the AV equipment.
・
Make sure the AV equipment connected to the earphone is turned on.
・
Increase the volume of the AV equipment connected to the earphone.
Cannot Record
・
Check the connection between the microphone and the AV equipment.
・
Confirm that the AV equipment connected to the microphone is turned on.
・
Make sure the microphone input of the connected AV device is not
“plug
-in-
power”.
Recording sound is distorted
–
Level is low
・
Adjust the recording level of the AV equipment.
There are beeping sounds or howling
・
Double check to assure the earphones are in the right ears
・
Change the size of the ear pad.
・
Decrease the monitor level.
Limited Product Warranty (U.S. Only)
Adphox Corporation (“Adphox”) warrants Binaural Microphone
/
Earphone (BME-
200) (the “Product”) against defects in material
or workmanship as follows when purchased directly from Adphox
or a Adphox retailer. For a period of one (1) year from the original
date of purchase of the Product (“Warranty Period”), Adphox will,
at its option, (i) repair using new parts or (ii) replace with a new
Product, any Product determined by Adphox to be defective. Any
parts or Product replaced under this Limited Product Warranty
will become the property of Adphox. After the Warranty Period,
Purchaser shall pay all charges for repair or replacement. This
Limited Product Warranty covers only the hardware components
packaged with the Product. It does not cover technical assistance
for hardware usage. Warranty coverage by this Limited Product
Warranty is only valid within the United States, excluding
territories.
During the Warranty Period, to repair or replace the Product,
Purchaser will return the defective Product with Warranty Card
with complete information detailing the defect, freight prepaid to
the Adphox Customer Service below. The Product to be repaired or
replaced is to be returned in either its original carton or a similar
package affording an equal degree of protection. Adphox will
return the repaired Product or replacement freight collect to
Purchaser. Adphox is not obligated to provide Purchaser with a
substitute unit during the Warranty Period or at any time.
This Limited Product Warranty stated on this card is subject to all
of the following terms and conditions.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. NOTIFICATION OF CLAIMS: WARRANTY SERVICE: If
Purchaser believes that the Product is defective in material or
workmanship, then written notice using the Warranty Card with
an explanation of the claim shall be given promptly by Purchaser
to Adphox but all claims for warranty service shall be made within
the warranty period. If, after investigation, Adphox determines
that the reported problem was not covered by the warranty,
Purchaser shall pay Adphox for the cost of investigating the
problem at its then prevailing per incident billable rate. No repair
or replacement of any Product or part thereof shall extend the
Warranty Period as to the entire Product. The specific warranty on
the repaired part only shall be in effect for a period of ninety (90)
days following the repair or replacement, or the remaining period
of the Product parts warranty, whichever is greater.
2. EXCLUSIVE REMEDY: ACCEPTANCE: Purchaser's exclusive
remedy and Adphox's sole obligation is to supply (or pay for) the
replacement of or all labor necessary to repair any Product found
to be defective within the Warranty Period and to supply, at no
extra charge, new or rebuilt replacements for defective parts.
