  BIOS Settings and Driver Installation

SP-15W03

Setup Menus

ATA(PI) 80Pin Cable Detection

This option allows you to control whether both IDE controller and 
IDE device should be allowed to detect the type of IDE cable used. 
When it is set to Host & Device, both IDE controller and device will 
be able to detect the type of used IDE cable. When Host is set, 
only IDE controller is able to detect the type of used IDE cable. 
When it is set to Device, only IDE device can detect the type of 
used IDE cable.
