4.1

AMIBIOS® 8 Setup Utility

This section describes the basic navigation for the AMI BIOS® 8 
BIOS setup utility.

4.2

Starting the BIOS Setup Utility

To enter the setup screen, follow the below steps:

1. Power on the motherboard.

2. Press the <Delete> or <DEL> key on your keyboard 

when you see the following text prompt, 

<Press DEL to run Setup>

3. After you press the <Delete> or <DEL> key, the main 

BIOS setup menu displays. You can access the other 
setup screens from the main BIOS setup menu, such as 
chipset and I/O menus.
