BIOS Setup
Video
Selects the type of primary video subsystem in your computer.
The BIOS usually detects the correct video type automatically. The
BIOS supports a secondary video subsystem, but is not selected
in Setup.
Halt On
During the Power On Self Test (POST), the computer stops if the
BIOS detects a hardware error. The BIOS can be instructed to
ignore certain errors during POST and continue the bootup pro-
cess. The options are as follows:
X
No errors:
POST does not stop for any errors.
X
All errors:
POST stops for any nonfatal error and will
prompt the user to take any corrective measures.

All, But Keyboard:
POST does not stop for a keyboard
error, but stops for all other errors.
X
All, But Diskette:
POST does not stop for diskette drive
errors, but stops for all other errors.
X
All, But Disk/Key:
POST does not stop for a keyboard or
disk errors, but stops for all other errors.
Base Memory
Displays the amount of conventional memory detected during boot
up.
Extended Memory
Displays the amount of extended memory detected during boot
up.
Total Memory
Displays the total memory available on the system.
