SECTION 4: INSTALLATION/
SERVICE NOTES
1. Reset
In ALARM condition your reset options are: Customer, Engineer or *Technistore
(selected in field 24). In a daytime TAMPER condition your reset options are: Cus-
tomer or Engineer. (selected in field 23). In addition the system may be reset from
the DOWNLOAD computer.
2. Bypassing (Isolating) Zones
Enter code + [BYPASS] + Zone Numbers
Zone numbers must be 2 digits (e.g. 02 = zone 2) the control will display bypassed
zones on completion.
To arm after bypassing zones enter code + [AWAY] or [STAY] or [INSTANT]. To
clear bypassed zones enter your code + [OFF]
3. User Codes
To add a user code proceed as follows:
Enter master user code + 8 + user number (2-8) and 4 digit code: 2 confirmation
beeps follows acceptance of new code.
4. View Event Log
The full real time event log may be uploaded to the ‘Download’ computer or printed
out from the control via an interface and serial printer. The basic log information
may be viewed from the display by Entering Engineer or Master code + # + 8. The
display then scrolls through the zones which caused the alarm conditions, the last
zone is displayed first.
5. Set Real Time Clock
This would normally be set from the ‘Download’ computer, however, it may be set
by entering Engineer or Master code + # + 9. The display will show dd. Enter the
date and time as follows:-
e.g. for 8 MARCH 1995 3.15pm enter:- dd mm yy hh mm. The control will beep
once to confirm entry. 08 03 95 15 15
6. Communication Test
Enter your Engineer code + # + 5 . This will transmit a test signal to the central
station (code 9).
