Installation Instructions
TROUBLESHOOTING
No Power/LED not lit.
Check Power LED switch (dipswitch M, figure 1), is in the ON position
Check power connections
Check power supply is working (use a camera that is known to be good)
No video.
Check Power (see above).
Check Video Output selector switch is set to the required output (dipswitch 14, figure 1)
Check BNC connections (use a camera that is known to be good)
Check Lens. Remove lens, if video present, fault with lens.
Manual Iris -
Is iris closed ?
DC Iris
-
Check Auto iris lens selector switch (dipswitch 5, figure 1) is set to DC
Increase DC level
Check wiring connections
Try lens on another camera or known good lens on camera
Video Iris
-
Check Auto iris lens selector switch (dipswitch 5, figure 1) is set to AI
Increase level on lens
Check wiring connections
Try lens on another camera or known good lens on camera
Dark picture
Check lens iris (see above)
Check coax termination is 75
W
Picture noise/grainy during daylight operation
Check lens iris level with AGC function disabled (dipswitch H, figure 1)
Picture too bright
Manual Iris -
Switch electronic iris ON (dipswitch J, figure 1)
DC iris

Switch electronic iris OFF (dipswitch J, figure 1), reduce DC level
Video iris -
Switch electronic iris OFF (dipswitch J, figure 1), reduce level on lens
Picture not sharp (out of focus)
Adjust focus on lens

Picture goes soft (out of focus) in low light
Adjust focus under low light conditions or use a neutral density filter under normal lighting
