5.0 Replacing the load cell
Check that the power is switched off, then follow these steps to replace the load
cell:

Open the scale casing and ensure the power is switched off.

Unscrew the 4 holding screws on the metal frame.

Then unscrew the 2 central screws holding the load cell in place.

Lift the metal frame to expose the load cell.

Detach load cell from the scale.

Once removed, replace this with the new load cell.

Place the metal frame onto the new load cell carefully ensuring that the screw
positions line up.

Screw in the 2 central screw points to hold the load cell in place, then carefully
screw in the 4 exterior screw points.

Once secure, place the scale’s exterior casing back onto the scale base and screw
to close.
