Performing a factory data reset does not delete any system software updates.
1. On the Home screen, tap Settings , then tap Backup & Reset / Factory data reset .
2. If required, select the checkbox to delete data on the SD card.
3. Tap Reset .
You can also factory‐reset the Juno T41 handheld by pressing and holding the Home button
and the Back button .
Absolute Power Off mode
The Juno T41 handheld features a battery cut‐off mode that enables the device to enter the
absolute lowest power mode possible, even lower than the Shutdown power state. In this mode,
the draw on the battery is less than 20 uA. The primary purpose for this mode is to prolong the shelf
life of the battery while the product is between the production factory and the customer. A
secondary purpose is to ensure the device is completely powered down before shipping the product
via air freight, or when putting the product into storage for an extended period, typically longer
than a week.
To activate the Absolute Power Off mode:
1. Disconnect the power cable, if connected.
2. On the Home screen, tap Settings , then tap Backup & Reset / Factory data reset . If required,
select the checkbox to delete data on the SD card. Tap Reset .
3. When it comes out of reset, indicated by the Juno T41 splash screen appearing, press and hold
the Menu button and the Back button .

Please remove AC. System is turning off.

Note – The sole method for powering the unit back on after enabling Absolute Power Off mode is to connect
it to the AC Power cable, or use the docking station or external battey pack to charge the handheld. If you use
the external battery pack, you must push the indicator button on the external battery pack to exit Absolute
Power Off mode and turn on the Juno T41 handheld.
