The driver’s door has a door lock
switch that locks and unlocks both
doors. Push LOCK to lock both
doors, and pull up the top portion of
the switch to unlock them.
Each door also has a lock tab on the
top. When you push down the lock
tab on the driver’s door, both doors
lock. Pulling up the lock tab on the
driver’s door only unlocks that door.
The lock tab on the passenger’s door
only locks and unlocks that door. To
get out of the vehicle, pull each lock
tab up or use the door lock switch
before you open either door.
Both doors will lock when you use
the key to lock either door from the
outside. Unlocking the driver’s door
with the key unlocks only that door.
Unlocking the passenger’s door with
the key unlocks both doors.
To lock the door without the key,
push the lock tab down and close the
door.
If you forget and leave the key in the
ignition switch, Lockout Prevention
will not allow you to lock the driver’s
door. With the driver’s door open
and the key in the ignition, both door
lock switches are disabled.
If you try to lock an open driver’s
door by pushing the lock tab down,
the tabs on both doors pop up.
Pushing the lock tab down on the
passenger’s door only locks that door.
