Seat Belts
The seat belts in your NSX are
designed to help protect you in a
collision. If you wear them properly,
they can reduce your injuries and
could even save your life. It is the law
in many states, and all of Canada, that
you wear your seat belt at all times.
Your car has seat belts at both
seating positions. These belts are
one-piece lap/shoulder belts. Each
seat belt should be worn only by one
person.
The seat belts are designed for adults
and larger children. Infants and small
children should ride in a proper child
restraint. See
Child Restraint
Systems
(page

) for more informa-
tion.
Wearing the Seat Belts
For your safety, position the seat
belts as directed. An improperly-
positioned seat belt can worsen your
injuries in a crash.
To fasten the driver's or passenger's
seat belt:
1. Make sure the doors are securely
closed and locked.
2. Adjust the seat to a comfortable,
but upright position. Sit straight up
and well back in the seat. (See
page

)
Driver and Passenger Safety
A crash, sudden stop, or
emergency maneuver can
cause you to be seriously
injured or killed if you are not
wearing your seat belt.
Be sure you and your passen-
ger are both properly wearing
your seat belts.
