If these two messages appear constantly after switching on,
it is possible that the memory module has become damaged
or the lithium battery is exhausted. In such cases, contact
your local Acterna Service center for assistance.
When “Default setting” and “Setups cleared” have been
displayed, the instrument will be set to its default settings
(see (see section 3.4 on page 3-13). Any stored instrument
setups have been cleared.
If the power supply fails while the instrument is switched on,
it is possible that the software may crash and the instrument
will not switch back on when the power is restored. To clear
this condition, perform a “hardware reset” by pressing the
[ON/OFF] and [CLEAR] keys simultaneously. The self-test
will be triggered by this (see page 3-10).
