Apply power to the cabinet and turn on the power switch inside the BASyC™ control cabinet.
When power is applied, the green status LED on the control module and the power LED on the I/O module
will light up. After 10-20 seconds, the amber, Beat LED on the Control module (power) will light up,
indicating the system is OK. If there are network connections and traffic, the primary and secondary LED’s will
flash indicating this also. The Beat LED will flash at 50/50 on/off duty cycle when the controller is functioning
properly. If it does not, contact Acorn technical support for assistance. The I/O module status LED will
next illuminate after another 10-20 seconds. After all these LED’s light as expected it will take another 5-10
minutes to boot, load software and begin normal operation. The first indicator of this is that the D1 LED will
light up indicating the controller and software are working together properly. At this point any combination
of LED’s on the I/O module may or may not light up based on the conditions sensed by the software. D1
should always be on and if it is not, contact Acorn technical support for assistance.
