Machine Maintenance Procedures

RTC Battery Removal

Prerequisite: 

Mainboard Removal

1. Locate RTC battery (A) on mainboard.

Follow local regulations for RTC battery (A) disposal (Figure 3-33).

RTC battery is soldered in place.

2. Break the solder. 
3. Remove battery (A).

RTC Battery Installation

Install RTC battery on mainboard plus (+) side down.

2.

Solder the connection to secure battery (A).

3.

Install mainboard.
