Microphone set cable is attached to mainboard. Use caution when removing
upper cover.
7. Lift upper cover in an angle to expose microphone set cable (Figure 3-22).
8. Disconnect microphone set cable (N) from mainboard connector (P) (Figure 3-22).

9. Remove upper cover.
Upper Cover Installation

1. Align upper and lower cover.
2. Connect microphone set cable (N) to mainboard connector (P) (Figure 3-22).
3. Install upper cover on lower cover.
4. Press along edges to secure all latches.
5. Install and secure five (5) screws (A) to upper cover (
Figure 3-20 ).
6. Connect the following cables ( Figure 3-20 ):

Fingerprint board FFC cable (E) to mainboard connector (F)

Touchpad button assembly FFC cable (G) to mainboard connector (H)

Function board cable (J) to mainboard connector (K).
7. Place computer face down.
8. Install and secure the following screws (
Figure 3-19 ):

Thirteen (13) screws (B) to lower cover

Two (2) screws (C) to lower cover

Three (3) screws (D) to battery bay.
9. Install keyboard.
