Configuring integrated SAS hardware RAID
Please refer to the Appendix B. for the integrated SAS hardware RAID
configuration.
Installation Tips
NOTE. There is no built-in driver for integrated SAS hardware RAID in the OS.
You need an USB floppy for applying driver during the OS installation.
1.
As Windows 2000 can’t recognize the integrated SAS hardware RAID, you
need to make a driver diskette from the EasyBUILD 7.1 build 300 first
before the installation.
2.
Press F6 at the start of installation to provide the driver diskette.
3.
Select “Intel SAS RAID Controller Driver (Windows 2000)” as target driver
