6.6.10.1.2 System Utilities
The AVC Configuration File includes values for all of the configurable parameters that the
controller requires to function. The
“
System Utilities
”
window is used to Save and Load the AVC
Configuration File, Print the AVC Configuration Sheet and Restore Factory Defaults.
SAVE Configuration Utilities
LOAD Configuration Utilities
LOAD configuration from Controller Flash Memory;
loads the configuration file that resides in the AVC
controller’s nonvolatile memory (FLASH) into the AVC controller’s volatile memory (RAM).
LOAD configuration from Computer Disk File;
loads the configuration file that resides in a nonvolatile storage
device (i.e. hard drive or USB Flash Drive) to the AVC controller’s volatile memory (RAM).
CAUTION
: This selection will load Configuration Settings and Calibration Data, which is valve size specific.
When using this function, verify the configuration file is the correct valve size for the application.
OTHER Configuration Utilities
CLONE configuration from Computer Disk File;
loads the majority of field configurable parameters from a
configuration file that resides in a nonvolatile storage device (i.e. hard drive or USB Flash Drive) to the AVC
controller’s volatile memory (RAM).
The CLONE utility is useful when configuring multiple fume hoods of the
same type by eliminating the need to repeat the process of entering information such as; Fume Hood Type,
Control Setpoints, Alarm Setpoints and Analog Output Configuration values. Parameters such as Device Serial
Number, TAG Name, BACnet Device Object Instance, BACnet Device Object Name and Baud Rate are not
overwritten in the target controller.
RETRIEVE GENERIC CONFIGURATION FILES FROM ACCUTROL CLOUD;
downloads a compressed folder from the
Accutrol Cloud which includes factory default configuration files for each type of AVC5000 AccuValve, both fume
hood and setpoint operating mode files are included.
RESTORE FACTORY CUSTOMER CONFIGURATION;
loads the original factory configuration file that resides in a
protected portion of the
AVC controller’s nonvolatile memory (FLASH) to the AVC controller’s volatile memory
(RAM).
Print Configuration Sheet;
prints a timestamped PDF document of the primary configuration parameters which
reside in the AVC controller
’s
nonvolatile (FLASH) memory.
SAVE configuration to Controller Flash Memory;
saves the configuration file that resides in the AVC
controller’s volatile memory
(RAM) to the AVC
controller’s nonvolatile memory (FLASH).
SAVE configuration to Computer Disk File;
saves the
configuration file that resides in the AVC controller’s
volatile memory (RAM) to a nonvolatile storage
device (i.e. hard drive or USB flash drive).
