Chapter 3: Testing Your Blood Sugar
Preparing the ACCU-CHEK Softclix Plus Lancing Device
for Fingertip Testing
Use a new lancet for each fingertip test to avoid infection and get a virtually
pain-free test. Remember to use the black cap to do a fingertip test.
Remember, you can use your lancing device attached to the meter or unattached.
1. Slide AND hold down on the release button
AND , at the same time, pull down on the
lancing device to remove it from the meter.
2. Attach the lancing device by sliding it along the
right edge of the meter (with the meter facing
up) until it locks into place.
