Gateway Configuration

Route

The Routing Table displays the list of static routes on the unit.

Destination LAN IP

– The IP address that identifies the IP subnet of the remote

network.

Subnet Mask

– The mask that identifies the IP subnet of the remote network.

Gateway

– The IP address of the router within the local IP subnet that forwards

traffic to the remote IP subnet.

Metric

– Cost for the local interface. This cost is only used when routes are imported

by a dynamic routing protocol.

Interface

– Indicates the local network interface on the unit.
