Handheld pulse oximeter user’s manual
Warning:
When the alarm sound is switched off, the oximeter
will give no audible alarm tones even if a new
alarm occurs. Any decision to switch off the alarm
sound should be made with extreme caution.
Users should not rely exclusively on the audible
alarm system for patient monitoring. Adjusting the
alarm volume to a low level may result in a hazard
to the patient. Always keep the patient under close
surveillance.
