7. Mounting the lens
The EYSEO day/night camera can be operated with both manual and auto-iris lenses. CS Mount
lenses can be attached directly. If you use a C Mount lens, first attach the spacer contained in the
delivery to the camera. Proceed as follows when installing the lens:
1. Screw the lens into the lens holder in an anticlockwise direction.
2. Connect the lens cable to the auto-shutter lens socket. (for AI lenses only).
Note: Use a lens weighing less than 450g.
For heavier lenses, the lens and camera must be fitted with additional support.
8. Description of the rear side of the camera
(1) Monitor output connector (MON OUT)
BNC output. This connector provides a composite signal 1Vp-p. Recommended connection for the
test monitor.
(2) Video output connector (VIDEO OUT)
BNC output. This connector is for connecting the camera video signal to the VIDEO IN connector
of, for example, the monitor (composite signal: 1Vp-p).
(3) Digital connector (GND I/O)
Digital input/output for control of external devices, e.g.: IR illuminators, or interface for manual
switching of day/night operation.
(4) Communication interface (REMOTE)
RS-232 interface for programming the day/night camera via PC software.
(5) Power supply (12VDC/24VAC) – TV7300
Power supply (230VAC) – TV7301
Connect to a corresponding power source. If you use a DC power supply, the polarity is
unimportant. If you use 230V AC, check national regulations.

Note: The PC software is not Vds tested. The RS232 and I/O connections are not VdS
tested and must not be used in VdS systems. Permanent activation of the RS-232 and
I/O connections is not permitted. It is for service purposes only.
