How do I open and close the umbrella?
You can open and close the umbrella using the remote control on the remote.
Pressing the “▲” button will open the umbrella. Pressing the “▼” will close the umbrella.
I pressed the “▼” button on the remote but it won’t close.
What do I do?
There is an emergency release latch attaching the lower hub to the upper hub.
You can manually close the umbrella by turning the latch counterclockwise.
How do I turn on the LED light?
You can turn on the LED light using the light button on the remote control.
My umbrella will not open or close. What should I do?
If your umbrella has trouble opening, please check the following
1. Leave the umbrella out for at least a few hours during the daytime to recharge the
battery in the sun. You may also charge it using the micro-USB power slot located
on the LED light fixture to charge the battery for faster charging.
2. Make sure the remote control has power. If it does not have any power, you will
need to replace the battery in the remote control with a CR2032 battery.
Can I wash my umbrella?
If you would like to wash your umbrella canvas, we recommend spot cleaning with water
or with a mild soap solution and rinse.
Should I close my umbrella when there are high winds?
It is strongly suggested to close your umbrella if there are high winds to avoid damages to
your umbrella. If you have a wind sensor installed on your umbrella, this will detect high
winds and automatically close the umbrella, so you don’t have to worry about going outside
to close it.
