Cleaning Your Umbrella
TSunbrella® fabrics are exceptionally easy to clean. We recommend spot cleaning the fabric
with a mild soap and solution, then rinse thoroughly and air dry.
Storing Your Umbrella
During extreme temperature and weather, it is recommended to bring your umbrella indoors.
This will prevent damages to your umbrella as well as preserve the battery life of the control
board.
To store the umbrella, first close the umbrella and keep it in a cool and dry location indoors.
This will typically be in your garage or a storage compartment.
IMPORTANT
: It is recommended to remove the control board from the top of the
umbrella and keep it in an area at room temperature. This will keep the battery from being
exposed to cold and hot temperatures which may affect the battery life of the control board.
To remove the control board at the top of the umbrella, turn it
counterclockwise from the motor. Remove the control board and turn the power
switch to off.
When you want to put your umbrella back outside, it is best to charge the control board
before operating your umbrella. You can charge the control board using the micro-USB
port at the top of the control board. Charging will take up to 4 hours from an empty to a
full charge. Alternatively, you can charge using solar by control board and solar panel
back onto the umbrella. The umbrella may take up to 12 hours for a full charge.
