4 Putting into operation

4.8 Feeding in the wire

Insert the wire in the wire feeder as specified by the manufacturer.

Open the housing cover
at the handle.

Unscrew the clamp clip
by pressing the pressure adjustment knob
upward and swivel it out laterally.

Press the "Current free wire feed" trigger at the wire feeder until the wire
comes out of the contact tip.

NOTE
• Each time the wire is changed, make sure that the cutting point is free of
burrs.
• Make sure that the wire feed roll complies with the diameter of the
inserted wire electrode.
