7.3 Inserting the welding wire
WARNING
Risk of injury from pointed welding wire
If the pointed welding wire is fed, severe puncture injuries may result.
► Do not look directly into the opening of the contact tip to check the wire feed.
► Keep your face and limbs at a safe distance from the wire guide.

Open the housing cover at the lug and lift the
cover up.

Push the clamping lever up to release the latch.

Swivel the rocker arm to the side.

Check wire guides for dirt and abrasion and, if
necessary, blow them out with compressed air or
replace them.

Thread the wire into the feeder side, manually or
with the assistance of the rear wire feeder.
Make sure that the welding wire is guided
correctly through the wire guides on the device.

Close the rocker arm.
