EGO User manual

IMMEDIATELY after press and hold again

 the original transmitter’s key until EGO green led goes 

off, finally to confirm the success of the procedure the red led will blink for about 3 seconds.

If you want to add another code on a different channel please goes back to step 2 within 3 seconds 

(until the.green led blinks rapidly).

 

If the procedure fails because the original transmitter is not compatible, after 10 seconds 

both led will start to blink alternately.

Important

: AAC/GENIUS transmitters comes in two variants: MASTER and SLAVE. Only the former 

can transmit the seed code and so be successfully duplicated. You can recognise a MASTER trans-

mitter when pressing a key: it will blink once before remaining steady.

EGO as MASTER transmitter

At this point EGO is an emulator of the original transmitter and can be used as MASTER to program 

other EGO and original FAAC/GENIUS transmitters.

Seed code

This feature can be used when it is necessary to emulate an EGO / FAAC on a new EGO transmitter.

Press and hold key 3, then press and hold key 4. The red led will light steady. Release both keys and 

press the key which source code is needed (key 1 for channel 1, pic. below).
