Mounting of Coupling of Disconnectors, Cabling
Caution :
For rated voltages 245 ... 362 kV : If the disconnector poles are arranged in parallel, the
coupling rods (15) must always be mounted on the same side on which the earthing switch is mounted
Note :
Make sure that the disconnector poles are in the ON position before coupling and that the
transportation angles (328) are still mounted.
Mounting steps :
1.
Adjust coupling rods (15)
Figure 29, Figure 30 to the required length
2.
Mount coupling rods free from distortion
Figure 29, Figure 30
3.
Tighten lock nuts (338) (left-, right-hand thread)
Figure 29, figure 30
4.
Remove transportation angles (328) from disconnector pole with operating mechanism
Figure 28
5.
Set operating mechanism (75) manually to the ON position
6.
Adjust operating lever (74) to measurements "R" and "X"
Figure 33,Figure 34
7.
Mount operating rod (37)
Figure 31, figure 32 and set to the required length (measurement
"n2")
Figure 33, Figure 34
8.
Adjust operating rod to measurements "U" and "V"
Figure 33, Figure 34
9.
Tighten operating rod (37) free from distortion with the lock nuts (direct mounting : 400-325,
separate mounting : 422-325) and tighten lock nuts (338)
Figure 33
10.
Tighten operating lever (74)
11.
Remove transportation angles (328) from the other disconnector poles
12.
Carry out some test operations manually (our recommendation : 3 test operations)
13.
Pay attention to smooth engagement of the contacts (measurement "k")
Figure 35 and to the
dead-center position of operating lever and operating rod
Figure 33, Figure 34
14.
If the engagement of the contacts is not smooth (without jerks), then loosen current-path fixing
bolts (400-302, 401-301) in the ON position and tighten again
Figure 28; then repeat 12.
mounting step
15.
Treat contact surfaces of high-voltage terminals (17)
Figure 28
16.
Treat contact surfaces of high-voltage connectors (not included in scope of supply)
17.
Mount high-voltage connectors
18.
Cable disconnector (see sag tables)
Caution :
Do not cut off cable at this stage
19.
Adjust distances, in contact zone (measurements "b" and "c")
Figure 36, if necessary by
means of stud bolts (13) of the rotary pedestals (70)
Figure 28
20.
Tighten all connections
21.
Carry out a test operation manually
22.
If contacts are engaging smoothly, cut off cable; otherwise report 14, mounting step
23.
Set disconnector manually to the OFF position
24.
In case of earthing switch : Next step :
Chapter 13 : Mounting of Operating Mechanism for
Earthing Swtich : otherwise
Chapter 16: Commissioning.
