The values in brackets are in Extended HART mode and HCIR.
In order to find out if a given configuration of analog and digital modules can be
used, the following method should be used:
•
Fill in number of modules in
•
Calculate the sum in the three columns:
–
Sum User Parameters
–
Sum Input Bytes
–
Sum Output Bytes
•
Calculate the three total sums for:
–
ParamSize
–
InSize
–
OutSize.
•
Check that:
–
ParamSize is less than or equal to 221 (220 if HCIR is used)
–
InSize is less than or equal to 239 in normal mode, 199 in Extended HART
mode
–
OutSize is less than or equal to 112 in normal mode, 90 in Extended
HART mode
If any of these three values is too high then the configuration can
not
be used.
