Redundancy: redundant communication is activated when the parameter is set to PRP-0, PRP-1

or

HSR. The settings for the next access point will be hidden and PhyPortB will show the

second port information. Redundant communication is activated after a common write to IED

is done.

PRP-1 should be used primarily, PRP-0 is intended only for use in existing PRP-networks. PRP-1

and HSR can be combined in a mixed network.

If the access point is not taken into operation, the write option in Ethernet Configuration Tool

can be used to activate the access point.

Routes

6.3.1

Application

GUID-19616AC4-0FFD-4FF4-9198-5E33938E5ABD v1

Setting up a route enables communication to a device that is located in another subnetwork.

Routing is used when the destination device is not in the same subnetwork as the default

gateway.

The route specifies that when a package is sent to the destination device it should be sent

through the selected router. If no route is specified the source device will not find the

destination device.

6.3.2

Setting guidelines

GUID-2C4A312A-00DC-44C8-B2D9-CD0822E1C806 v1

Routes are configured using the Ethernet configuration tool in PCM600.

Operation for the route can be set to On/Off by checking and unchecking the check-box in the

operation column.

Gateway specifies the address of the gateway.

Destination specifies the destination.

Destination subnet mask specifies the subnetwork mask of the destination.
