WARNING
Risk of burns due to hot measuring media
Risk of burns due to hot measuring media.
The device surface temperature may exceed 158 °F (70
°C), depending on the measuring medium temperature.
Before starting work on the device, make sure that it has
cooled sufficiently.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to live parts .
When the housing is open, contact protection is not
provided and EMC protection is limited.
Before opening the housing, switch off the power
supply.
Perform the following steps to replace the fuse:

Switch off the power supply.

Open the transmitter terminal box.
3
Remove LCD-Display
4
Pull out the defective fuse and insert a new fuse.

Insert the LCD indicator
6
Close the transmitter terminal box.
7
Switch on the power supply.

Check that the device is working correctly.
If the fuse blows again on activation, the device is defective
and must be replaced.

Note
Damage to components .

Repair and maintenance activities may only be performed by
authorized customer service personnel.
When replacing or repairing individual components, use
original spare parts.

Fuse replacement
Note
If the O-ring gasket is seated incorrectly or damaged, this
may have an adverse effect on the housing protection
class .
Follow the instructions in chapter "Opening and closing the
terminal box" on page 14 to open and close the housing
safely.
There is a fuse in the transmitter terminal box.
