10. Customer Service
To guarantee superior customer service, it is
necessary to comply with the following directions
and guidelines of ABB and to thereby support the
observance of the quality assurance. This
concerns every case of damage or repair, without
exception.
10.1. Procedure
Before shipment of the materials to be repaired,
we kindly request you contact ABB, in order to
clarify the shipment details, such as method of
shipment, delivery address etc.
For efficient processing of the case, we
request as accurate a notification of the
cause and circumstances of the damage as
possible with the following information:
•
Manufacturing number of the apparatus
•
Order number
•
Electrical diagram, respectively drawing
number with revision status and date of
issue
•
Item number
•
Description of the fault with time details
(brief description!)
10.2. Packaging
The customer is required to send the material in a
packaging suitable for shipping, in order to
prevent additional damage due to transport.
Electronic components must be shipped in
antistatic packaging, as described in the EMC
regulations applicable for these components.
