Shutting Down the Gas Analyzer
In the case of a temporary shutdown:

Shut off the sample gas.

Purge the gas lines and gas feed paths in the gas analyzer with dry
fresh air or nitrogen for at least 5 minutes.

Switch off the power supply to the gas analyzer.
In the case of a long-term shutdown, carry out the following in
addition:

Remove the gas lines from the gas analyzer ports. Tightly seal the
gas ports.

Disconnect the electrical leads from the gas analyzer.

In the case of a temporary shutdown:

Turn off the sample gas supply.

Purge sample gas line with nitrogen for at least 5 minutes from the
sampling point.

Set the gas analyzer to standby operation (see page 115). In case of
corrosive and flammable gases set the gas analyzer to standby
operation with detector purging.

Shut off combustion air supply and combustion gas supply.
In the case of a long-term shutdown, carry out the following in
addition:

Shut off instrument air supply.

Switch off the gas analyzer power supply.

Remove the gas lines from the gas analyzer ports. Tightly seal the
gas ports.

Disconnect the electrical leads from the gas analyzer.
