Start-Up
The order of the tasks presented by the Start-up Assistant depends on your entries.
The task list in the following table is typical.
1. Select ASSISTANTS in the Main Menu.
2. Press UP/DOWN to select START-UP ASSISTANT.
Note!
Rather than the Start-up Assistant, you can select Assistants for individual
tasks, such as Output Signals.
3. Make entries or selections as appropriate.
4. Press SAVE to save settings. Each individual parameter setting is valid immediately
after pressing SAVE.
Task name
Description
Language Select
Selects the language used in control panel displays.
Motor Set-up
Enters motor data and motor identification.
Application
Selects an application macro.
Option Modules
Activates optional modules, if any, mounted on the drive.
Speed Control EXT1
• Selects the source for the speed reference.
• Sets the reference limits.
• Sets the speed (or frequency) limits.
• Sets acceleration and deceleration times.
• Sets up the brake chopper if activated.
Speed Control EXT2
• Sets the source for the speed reference.
• Sets the reference limits.
Torque Control
• Selects the source for the torque reference.
• Sets the reference limits.
• Sets the torque ramp up and ramp down times.
PID Control
• Selects the source for the process reference.
• Sets the reference limits.
• Sets the speed (reference) limits.
• Sets the source and limits for the process actual value.
Start/Stop Control
• Selects either EXT1 or EXT2.
• Defines the direction control.
• Defines the start and stop modes.
• Selects the use of Run Enable signal.
Protections
Sets the torque and current limits.
Output Signals
Selects the signals indicated through the relay outputs RO1, RO2, RO3 and
optional relay output’s (if installed).
Selects the signals indicated through the analog outputs AO1 and AO2. Sets
the minimum, maximum, scaling and inversion values.
