Disabling this feature will prevent a VMEbus backplane reset from triggering a local
system reset.
Please note that the initial reset seq
uence at power‐up always triggers a VMEbus
backplane reset to ensure proper system boot. Only subsequent resets can be masked
using this feature.
Please use with caution. By specification, any VMEbus cards is expected to accept
incoming VMEbus reset signal.

4.10 ME Configuration
The Intel ® Management Engine (ME) is a hardware‐based i
solated and protected
controller inside the chipset. The ME provides management features such as Intel®
Active management Technology (AMT) and Alert Standard Format (ASF).
The optional IPMI controller (see SBC options) communicates with ME to access
thermal data from sensors inside the processor and chipset.
Select the
ME Configuration
option from the Advanced screen to jump to the ME
Configuration screen.
