9 Malfunction and trouble shooting
WARNING - If the driving characteristics change unusualy, turn off the CR2303 immediately and
stop using it, to avoid dangerous situations!
Turn on the CR2303.
LED blinks
» Note the malfunction.
Turn off the CR2303.
8 7 Recycling
The CR2303 and its battery pack are products of long durability. However if your CR2303 has reached
the end of its lifespan you may return its components to AAT Alber Antriebstechnik GmbH or authorized
personnel to be recycled.
You are not allowed to dispose your CR2303 and its battery pack on places
(e.g. landfills) that are not intended for this purpose according to the current ap
-
plicable legislation in the respective country. The CR2303 and its battery pack
may contain substances that might have negative effects on the environment.
The “crossed-out refuse bin icon“ indicates that the product is not allowed
to be disposed of as household refuse according to the WEEE-guideline.
Please refer to the applicable legislation in your country regarding disposal.
Please note, the WEEE-guideline is not applicable in all European countries.
8 8 Long-term storage
If your CR2303 will be stored for a longer period of time (e. g. for a few months), please ensure the following:
» Protect the CR2303 from rain or moisture.
» Store the CR2303 in a dry place with low relative humidity. If necessary, protect the CR2303 with foils
» Keep the CR2303 from strong sunlight.
» Make sure that unauthorized persons - especially children – have no access to the storage room of the CR2303.
» Remove the battery pack before storage.
» Observe chapter 8.1 when storing the battery pack!
If you want to re-use it, please clean the CR230 as described in chapter 8.3. Please check the inspection
plate on the CR2303. If necessary, commission a safety check (see chapter 8.5).
If no safety check is necessary, please make sure to check the electronic functions and the safety brakes
before re-use.
