Locking the set

This function is used, for example, to prohibit outside calls from your set and access to the
inbound call log in your absence.

Important: before locking your set, you must have personalized the secret code on
your set

(see section

Set settings - Personalizing the set's secret code

Enabling the set lock

You want to enable the lock on your set:

Successively press the keys

The display shows "SET LOCKED".

Note

: the set is locked, but you can call an internal party.

Calling an external party from the locked set

You have locked your set and want to selectively call an external party without disabling the
lock.

1 - Dial the

outside line access code

The screen prompts you to enter your secret code.

2 - Enter your set's

secret code

If you make a mistake, you must repeat the operation.

As soon as the code is validated, outside access is
authorized.

You can dial the party's number.
When the called party answers, pick up the handset to
talk.

At the end of the call, the set goes back to the locked
state.
