During a call
Answering a second call*
While talking with one party, you hear an audible signal: another party is trying to reach you.
You can answer this second call without cutting off the first call.

Successively press the keys
or
*.
The other party is automatically put on hold.
You can talk to the second party whose identity is
displayed on the screen.
Note
: if you have programmed the multi-key or multi-line
function (refer to these chapters for more information), you can
press the programmed keys to answer the call and switch from
one party to the other.
Switching between two parties
You want to successively switch between parties:

Press the keys
or
*.
You talk alternately with each party, but they cannot
communicate with one another.
Releasing one of the parties
To release one of the parties (the one with whom you are talking):

Press the keys
or
*.
You recover the party who was on hold.
Setting up a conference call
You want to talk to both parties at the same time (feature granted if you made the last call).

Press the keys
or
*.
A three-way conference call is set up between you and
your two parties.
If one of them hangs up, you stay on line with the other.
