Key programming
Your handset provides the possibility of assigning frequently used functions to specific keys.
Aastra 610d
The left and middle softkey below the display and the left and right navigation keys can be pro-
grammed. All the programmed keys can only be used when the handset is in idle mode.
Aastra 620d/630d
The left and middle softkey below the display and the left and right navigation keys can be pro-
grammed. You can only use these programmed keys in idle mode.
The three sidekeys (on the left) and the hotkey (on the right) can be programmed as before.
These programmed keys can be used when the handset is in idle mode and in the connected state.
Once the programming is completed, the symbol/icon of the programmed function is shown on the
display (not in the case of the hotkey). A short keypress is sufficient to call up the function.
Note
Please note that some functions can only be displayed in the connected state. For instance if you call
up the call list, you can browse through it and edit it, but you cannot dial a call number directly from
the list.
Programming (general)
Press the respective key and hold it for a moment or use the Menu

The following selection is offered:
No function
The key is not assigned.
VIP list
The key is assigned with a number list (max. 6 entries).
Alarm clock
You can program entry to the alarm clock settings.
Appointment
You can program entry to the appointment settings.
Profile
The selection of profiles is offered.
Info
The Info menu (caller list, redial,...) can be programmed.
