Installation  of  the  gas  heaters  shall  be
adjusted  to  obtain  an  air  temperature  rise
within  the range specified on the rating plate.

Rain Hoods

Gas  heating  units  include  factory  provided
exterior rain hoods. The hoods are fastened in
place with sheet metal screws. Higher heating
capacity  units  will  have  two  banks  of  gas
fired  heat exchanges  (see

). All of

the provided hoods must be installed after the
unit is set in place.

When  locating  gas  fired  units,  install
the  unit  so  that  the  flue  discharge
vents  are  located  at  least  120  inches
away from any opening  through which
combustion  products  could  enter  the
building.
